Babies go for a walk - Noonish
Jake and Lily have a favorite spot in the forest, and Ken calls it "Johnny Park." There are several trails available, some of which can be gotten to via normal vehicle, and others of which must be accessed via off-road vehicles or ATV's. At any given time there are usually people there, but today we got lucky and ran into nobody (we like nobody, so it's A-ok). Jake and Lily have ventured there before, and immediately took off running, as little Nana looked around in wonder. She had to be coaxed the first 1/4 mile, but Mom is smart and brought along some treats...imagine Nana following the trail of crumbs!! Nana did really well, but got cold much faster than the rest of us...and somehow she gave that special look to her Daddy that got him to carry her back to a pine-bough near the car inside his coat, where later Mommy, Jake and Lily found them snoozing comfortably!
